Argentine Ambassador Ciro Ciliberto paid a courtesy call on Acting Prime Minister Santia Bradshaw at Ilaro Court.

 

The two discussed the longstanding relationship between both countries, which started early with the recognition of Barbados as independent nation in October, 1967 and the establishment of diplomatic relations in November, 1968. Other areas of mutual interest were also discussed, including food production and agriculture, climate change and disaster management, sports, education, Spanish teaching and exchange of students, and scientific and technological cooperation, among others.
